Welcome to House of Hammers, a construction company founded in 2019 by Hugo Reyes-Ortiz. What began as a vision in Dripping Springs has since evolved into a thriving business serving the greater Austin and Hill Country area.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Hugo Reyes-Ortiz, the founder of House of Hammers, was inspired by his father's passion for construction from a young age. Witnessing his father's skill and enthusiasm for fixing things sparked Hugo's own interest in the industry.
With over 15 years in commercial construction, Hugo eventually left the corporate world behind to focus on helping families realize their dream spaces. He believes that every renovation is a chapter in someone's life story, and he feels honored to be a part of that narrative.
Hugo's journey in construction began at Home Depot and Northern Tool + Equipment before he gained valuable experience with companies like Camp Construction Services, South River Restoration, Inc., Reconstruction Experts, Inc., and NorthStar Recovery Services.
Outside of work, Hugo is a devoted family man who cherishes time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys rock climbing and traveling, always seeking out new adventures and experiences. Hugo's dedication to excellence and his passion for construction are the driving forces behind House of Hammers’ commitment to integrity, quality, and trust.
